The precious ebony wood used in this piece is cut close to the trunk, hence the two-toned color. I carved, filed and sanded each piece in its own individual amorphous shape. The pieces move together and change the shape of the piece with the movement of the body. You can choose to show a smooth look on one side or decide to display the more curvaceous side.
